LMSSOC: Sangzi FC thrash High Hill Club 3-0

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): Sangzi FC defeated High Hill Club by 3-0 on day 12 of the 25th edition of the Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship on Friday. The first and second goal for Sangzi FC was scored by Jonnny jersey no. 10 in the 9th and 39th minute and the third goal was scored by Kumpise in the 47th minute. Francis jersey no.7, the captain of Sangzi FC missed the penalty in the earlier part of first half and he was also awarded a yellow card in the 33rd minute by the match referee. The second match ended in a 1-1 draw played between Donching Yangmai FC ‘A’ and 3rd NAP Battalion. The first half remained goalless and in the second half Aolen jersey no. 16 drew the first breakthrough for Donching Yangmai FC ‘A’ in the 33rd minute. However, Phenyang jersey No. 12 scored the equaliser for 3rd NAP Battalion in the 38th minute. Saturday’s matches 1st match - Genesis FC vs Lungdon FC at 12 noon 2nd match - Mt. Pongen FC vs United Tsg Tornados at 1:30 pm.
