LMSSOC: Lungdon FC overcome Genesis FC 2-1

Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): Lungdon FC defeated Genesis FC Tsg by 2-1 in the first match at the ongoing Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship on Saturday. Lesipi (jersey No. 13) scored the first goal for Genesis FC Tsg in the very first minute of first half. Later, Tongpang (jersey no. 2) scored the equaliser for Lungdon FC in the 15th minute and Longkhoi netted another goal for Lungdon FC in the 21st minute. The rain marred second match played between United Tsg Tornados and Mt. Pongen FC played a 1-1 draw. United Tsg Tornados scored the first goal in the 28th minute of the first half through the boots of Therie (jersey No.10) but Toso (jersey No. 6) of Mt. Pongen scored the equaliser in the very next minute and levelled the score at 1-1. Neither of the team added to the goal tally and match ended at a 1-1 tie.
