LJP(RV) makes first list of candidates public
National Yuva President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Pranab Kumar on Saturday made the party’s first list candidates public for the upcoming general election scheduled for February 27.
A total of 19 candidates, including several sitting and former MLAs, were allotted the party ticket at Hotel Saramati in Dimapur.
Kumar also appointed Kitoho S Rotokha, who will contest from 5 Ghaspani II AC, as the president of State Parliamentary Board Nagaland.
The LJP(RV) stated that its ‘slogan is the election is good governance and a stable government, development-oriented, transparent and corruption-free’.

Election manifesto
The party’s manifesto for the upcoming state election, which was released on Saturday, stressed on giving priority to agriculture, road connectivity, healthcare sector, Naga political issue, human recourse development, women empowerment, and strengthening of public distribution system, among others.
