The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has decided to set-up candidates in all the constituencies in the upcoming assembly election in the state of Nagaland.
In a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner of India, the party’s secretary general, Abdul Khaliq, has appealed to allot the party symbol ‘Helicopter’ to its candidates for the upcoming assembly election in Nagaland.
Stating that LJP is a state-level recognised party in the state of Bihar, Khaliq stated that the Election Commission has been allotting ‘Helicopter’ symbol to its party candidates in the state assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the LJP Nagaland unit has greeted the Tikhir community of Nagaland on the occasion of Kuhlang-Nyi festival. The party expressed hope that the festival would bring peace and oneness among the Nagas.
