Livingstone school conferred with two awards

Dimapur, Sep. 10 (EMN): Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School of Dimapur was conferred with two awards of the National School Award (NSA) in India at a recent ceremony in New Delhi.

The school was awarded the ‘Best Residential Boarding School’ of the year award and the ‘Most Nature Friendly School Award,’ it was informed.

An update from the school authority stated the NSA is stated one of the biggest awards in education sector in India. This platform is meant to standardize every school of each state for their best practices which are involved in making India’s future.

The award is presented every year and ranks the schools according to the best practices to develop young minds of the nation. The awards were presented to schools with 15 special categories at the state-level. The schools will get an opportunity to get recognition at the national-level. NSA is awarded to those schools which are putting their best efforts to promote overall educational standards of India, it infromed.

The prominent areas of the NSA include state-level recognition, national-level recognition, national principal forum, contribution in girl child and slum education, competitive spirit and facilities to schools.

On the basis of the all India survey by NSA jury, the awards have been conferred considering different parameters like CBSE board result of grade 10th and 12th, accomplishments of school in IIT-JEE, NEET, KVPY, NSEC, NSEP, innovative teaching pedagogy being adopted by school, projects and assignments being given to students, educational trips and excursions, physical infrastructure and other facilities being provided for academics as well as sports.
