Lions Club Dimapur Japfu organises health camp

DIMAPUR — More than 200 patients from Dimapur availed free consultation during a free health camp organised by Lions Club of Dimapur Japfu, in association with Down Town Hospital, Guwahati, on Saturday at St. Mary Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.

The president of Lions Club of Dimapur Japfu, Neena Dutta, who is also the vice district governor of Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Upper Assam and principal of St Mary School, shared that the camp was organised to provide free consultation to patients, in collaboration with doctors from Down Town Hospital, Guwahati.

Five specialised doctors namely Dr. Jitumani Kalita (Cardiology), Dr. Subhenda Buzarbarua (Gynae and IVF), Dr. Suman Biswas (ENT), Dr. Dhiraj (Orthopaedic), and Dr. Pankaj (medicine) along with four nurses and managers conducted the health camp.

Dutta informed that they are also planning to conduct a free consultation camp in Kohima next month as well as in other districts.

Nikhilesh Sarma, business development manager at Downtown Hospital, Guwahati, informed that 20% discount would be given to the patients at the Downtown Hospital for those who attended the free consultation camp.
