DIPHU — A young man died after being struck by lightning in West Karbi Anglong on Sunday.
The victim, identified as one Pintu Chauhan, aged 21, was a resident of Tila Basti under the jurisdiction of Kheroni police station of West Karbi Anglong District.
According to reports, the lightning struck him while he was retrieving cows from the field.
