DIMAPUR — The 10th Children's Festival of the Liangmai Baptist Association's (LBA) Christian education department, themed ‘Bear much fruit’, is underway at Liangmai Baptist Church in New Jalukie.

Rev. Kitanwi Chewang, executive secretary of LBA, and Azanuo Viluo Ciesotsu, child director of ABCC, are the speakers from January 9 to 11. According to a DIPR report, a total of 780 children are participating in the festival.

In his speech at the inaugural function, Chewang encouraged the children, stating that they should avoid intoxicating substances because they draw them away from God's blessings.

He also added that children should be allowed to sing, dance, and pray because it helps them grow in their relationship with God. Referring to the lives of Samuel and Samson, he challenged them to have a heart of repentance and conviction.
