LHD and Patton condole Rev. Murry’s demise

Dimapur, Dec. 21 (EMN): The Lotha Hoho Dimapur (LHD) has mourned the demise of Rev. NT Murry, who passed away on December 20.

The hoho, in a condolence message issued by its general secretary W Rainbow Ngullie, has described Murry as a kind-hearted man, passionate, a visionary mentor and a God-fearing man. It added that his compassionate attitude and humility has contributed enormously for the progress and uplift of the society.

It lamented that the hoho has lost a wonderful person and a dear friend. It further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty God would grant comfort and strength in their hour grief and sorrow.

In a separate statement, the deputy chief minister Y Patton has mourned the demise of Rev. NT Murry, former executive secretary of Lotha Baptist Churches Association. Patton has described Murry as a pastor, an educator and translator of the Holy Bible in Lotha dialect, who had served the church in different capacities was also involved with various Lotha literature committees.

Patton lamented that his demise was a great loss to the Lothas and the Christian community. He further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
