LFIC organises carnival; students learn about opportunities in Japan
DIMAPUR — The department of Psychology, Livingstone Foundation International College (LFIC), Dimapur, organised an autumn carnival on October 7 at the college premises.
An update from the college mentioned that the main motive of the carnival was to provide opportunities and a platform to various businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs, students, etc., and also to give a much-needed break from the humdrum of life.
The event featured some of Nagaland’s most popular brands, including Ohan Ki, The Rumbling Spoon, Manna Oven, Nagaland Coffee, and others, as well as departments from various colleges.
The carnival also included a variety of games and entertainment items, such as live songs, arm wrestling, and a Mobile Legends tournament.
Studying Japanese, placement
On October 6, Arms Incorporation, which deals with job placement in Tokyo and the Japanese language, visited LFIC.
Temjen Bursanen Jamir, the center’s leader, accompanied by Senchumbeni Yanthan and Otilemla Ao, interacted with the 5th semester students, explaining the role of Arms Incorporation and their role in training and placement.
They explained that TITP, or Technical Intern Training Programme, is a training programme designed to develop students’ skills and mould them to make them suitable for various employment opportunities across various sectors.
The team stated that the centre offers Japanese language, culture, and work-specific training programmes based on the needs.
Citing that the Japanese government is offering lucrative job offers to people from other nations, including India, so that they settle in Japan and boost the country’s workforce, the team encouraged the students to take this opportunity and develop their skills.
