LFIC bids adieu to first batch of 6th semester students
Outgoing students of LFIC with their mentors during the parting social programme for the first batch of 6th semester students, on April 26.

DIMAPUR — Livingstone Foundation International College (LFIC), Dimapur organised a parting social programme for its first batch of 6th semester students at LFI Auditorium on April 26.

The theme of the event was ‘Soar high,’ a testament to the dedication and achievements of the departing students, an update stated.

Medoneizo Pfutsure, founder of Bambusa Express and CEO of Jome Foods Private Limited, was the guest of honor of the parting social.

Pfutsure, in his address, shared his personal journey of overcoming adversities and embracing failures as stepping stones to success. He also highlighted the immense potential and resilience of Naga youths, urging them to pursue their dreams with purpose and perseverance.

Dr. Andrew Ahoto, chairman of LFIC, offered words of encouragement, emphasising the importance of humility and camaraderie as the students embark on their future endeavours.

Kato N Zhimomi, president of the Students’ Council of LFIC, and Tiaienla Amri, representing the outgoing students, delivered speeches, encapsulating the spirit of unity and gratitude.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the ‘Student of the Year 2024 Award’ to Tiaienla Amri, recognising her all-round achievements during her time at LFIC.

Novi Swu, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, LFIC, anchored the programme.

The evening was punctuated by a touching musical tribute by 4th semester students, dedicated to their outgoing peers. Imolangla, dean of students, spoke on behalf of the faculty, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to nurturing and guiding the next generation of leaders.

Dr. Tainla Mar closed the ceremony with a prayer, invoking blessings upon the departing students as they venture forth into the world, equipped with knowledge, resilience and a sense of purpose.

The Livingstone Foundation International College extended congratulations to the graduating Class of 2024 and wished them success in all their future endeavours, the update stated.
