LFC: Win for NLVFC, Headhunters, and Mt.Morashen

Feb. 1.[/caption] Dimapur, Feb. 1 (EMN): On the fourth day of the ongoing 9th edition of Lotha Football Championship (LFC) on Fri. Feb. 1, the first match was played between SPXI and N.Longidang Villlage (NLVFC). SP XI went down against their strong opponent NLVFC 4-1. Benjamin became the third player to score a hat-trick after scoring in the 29th, 33rd and 61st minutes; the lone goal for SP XI was scored by Nchumbemo in the 22nd minute. In the second match Headhunters 164 TA humiliated Brothers FC 9-0. Chingsha scored four goals and became the fourth player to score a hat-trick of the championship. With today’s goal Chingsha’s individual goals has gone up to seven making him one of the contender for the highest scorer of the tournament. Pete, Khikiho and Moa contributed a goal each for Headhunters. The third match was played between Mt.Morashen and Forest FC. Mt.Morashen beat Forest FC 6-2. Sinelo of Mt.Morashen scored the fastest goal of the championship who found the net in the 1st minute of the game. Liben scored three goals while Sachamo and Nzanbemo added a goal each. The last match of the day was played between Pangti FC and L.E.Khel. After playing the full allotted time both the teams failed to score and the match ended in goal less draw.
