Dimapur, Feb. 2 (EMN): Mt.Morashen, N.Longidang Village (NLVFC), Headhunters and Pangti FC won on the fifth day of the ongoing 9th edition of the Lotha Football Championship organised by Wokha District Football Association at the Wokha local ground on Sat. Feb. 2.
In the first match of the day, Mt.Morashen hammered Bonnie Club 9-1, with Senilo scoring five goals while Nzanbemo and Liben scored two goals apiece for the winning team.
Defending champions NRSA went down against debutant N.Longidang by 2-0 after Benjamin scored two goals for N.Longidang in the 25th and 62nd minutes of the game. Playing their second match, Pangti FC defeated WRSU Wozhuro 2-1. Bashang scored both the goals in the 33rd and 71st minute.
Tournament favourites Headhunters showing their consistency defeated their rivals Humtso FC 5-1.
With this win Headhunters now have nine points on the table, making them leaders of group B.
