The world has come to almost a complete halt due to the spread of deadly Corona virus (COVID - 19) claiming thousands of precious lives it’s like a world war III, Man versus Deadly Corona Virus.
Our state Nagaland along with rest of the nation is under total lockdown to combat with this virus, a good initiative by the Govt. for the welfare of its citizens.
But I am very apprehensive thinking about the situation of those sections of people who live from hand to mouth. How long will this continue and how long will they survive under these conditions as we all know these people can hardly save some pennies in their account (majority of them may not even have an account or savings)
So through this short write up, during this period of time I appeal to all our sisters and brothers irrespective of tribe, caste and religion to come forward and help the people who live from hand to mouth.
Sincere appeal to all the 60 legislators not to forget about your people (the voters who voted for you), the churches and all the organisation/associations/unions/NGOS’, Etc. It’s time to do some missionary work in our own state; your members need your help. All the well to to people this is the right time to show your love towards your neighbours, stocking essential commodities for your own family is very important but think about your poor neighbours also, the private employer your employee need your support and all the sections of the society COME LET US NOT ONLY WAIT FOR THE GOVERNMENT but HELP as much as we can in all our capacities during this period of time. All the money lenders not to charge high interest rate.
