Dimapur, Jan. 3 (EMN): Lengnyu Students’ Union (LSU) held its 45th general session on December 30 at Lengnyu village public ground with S Pokoi Kaothie, general secretary of NDPP central youth organisation, as the chief guest on the theme “Resilience.”
An update from the union stated that the formal session began with an invocation said by T Mongtsoa, pastor of LBC, while the head GB of Lengnyu village, L Penglang, spoke on peace and unity in his exhortation.
Speaking on the occasion, Pokoi Kaothie has stressed on the importance of the theme as well as the impact of social media on students’ life. He further encouraged the students to mould themselves into better beings and have a healthy competitive spirit.
The invited guest and president of PRSU, P Zuhing, spoke on growth, success and progress.
The valedictory programme was attended by Shingnyu, PGT of GHSS, Kiphire. In his message, he encouraged the students to work hard and be consistent in life.
