Legislators pay college and hospital in Wokha a visit

Dimapur, June 11 (EMN): The advisor for Information Technology, Science & Technology, New & Renewable Energy, Mmhonlumo Kikon and MLA Dr. Chumben Murry paid a visit to Mt. Tiyi Government College and Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital on June 11. The legislators inspected the college and had an interaction with the college authority and faculty members who are part of the NAAC peer team. The college authority updated. During an interaction, principal of the college, Dr. Abeni Lotha said that for academic excellence the college has been pursuing its best to affiliate the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) so that the college can have privilege to tie-up with universities in other parts of India and abroad. She, however, lamented that the college is facing some difficulties due to lack of proper infrastructure, basic amenities and skill development of the students to achieved the target. In order to let the college achieve their goal, Kikon assured that he will to provide computers to the college at the earliest. Murry, while congratulating the college authority for producing excellent academic result, assured to extent all possible help in the days to come. Also, the project director of the DRDA, Thungdeno Mozhui assured to donate some books to the college library. The legislators were accompanied by the deputy commissioner of Wokha , Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon; DPO Mhonsao Ezung and Lotha hoho chairman, Mhao Lotha. The team also inspected Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital interacted with the officers and staff.
