Legislators for Kohima Covid-19 visit upcoming quarantine centre at K Badze

Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): Minister Housing & Mechanical, Tongpang Ozukum and Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, the legislators in-charge of monitoring Kohima Covid-19 situation along with Kohima DTF members led by Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie and Sr. SP K Sophie visited the upcoming quarantine facility centre at K Badze in Kohima on  April 13.

The team visited the designated site to review the ongoing work at the upcoming quarantine facility centre, which has a total number of 304 rooms for quarantine facilities in ten buildings, an update from DIPR informed.

Altogether there are 26 buildings, out of which it is targeted to activate 11 buildings at present including the control room, said Superintending Engineer (Housing) K Nakhro.

He said that with the help of the community and line departments clearing and repairing works commenced from last week and hope to be operationalised in a week time.

The team along with senior government officials from the line departments inspected the ongoing works, where the legislators applauded the efforts of all concerned officers and departments for taking the task seriously and implementing the work in much progress.
