Dimapur, June 19 (EMN): Advisor to IPR, SCERT, village guard, Toshi Wungtong contributed four thermal scanners, ten PPE suits, four sanitiser dispensers, 3000 face masks, hand sanitisers, and PA system to Shamator and Chessore community.
The legislator handed over the items to the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Lankonsen Tsanglao.
In a separate event, the Yimchungeru Akheru Arihako (YAA) donated INR 25,000 to Tuensang district administration.
The organisation led by Kihoto Henry Yimchungru met Deputy Commissioner Kumar Ramnikant, who is also the chairman of the district task force and handed over the amount.
Also, Prodigals' Home and North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA)donated six water purifier filters to Aoyimkum village quarantine centre on Friday.
In another programme, the Zunheboto district horticulture officer, I Chuba Toshi and staff donated organic vegetables to quarantine centres in Zunheboto on Friday.
The vegetables were received by Deputy Commissioner Peter Lichamo at his residence. The DC expressed gratitude to the department officials.
