Kohima, April 13 (EMN): Advisor of youth resource and sports department, Zale Neikha, has lauded Kivi Zhimomi on his recent success to sign contract with NorthEast United FC. The 22 year old Zhimomi had signed a contract with NUEFC for three years and would be joining the team by August this year. A message congratulating the footballer was received from on Wednesday.
Neikha has congratulated Zhimomi for his recognition as the first footballer in Nagaland endorsed to NorthEast United FC under the aegis of Indian Super League (ISL).
“The journey you (Zhimomi) start today has a long way to go to win many hurdles. Keep your aim high and make a plan to build many milestones in your professional career.”
“Amidst the reminiscence of late Dr. T Ao, your achievement which brings out the masterstroke attitude has yet again won another laurel to Nagaland football and inspires others to dream beyond,” stated Neikha.
The minister also wished him success in all his future endeavours and hoped that as a rising star, he would bring many more laurels to Nagaland football.
