Legislator inaugurates state stall at IITF

BS Nganlang Phom inaugurating the State stall at the 37th India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi.

Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): Parliamentary Secretary of Land Resources and Excise, BS Nganlang Phom, inaugurated the State stall at Hangars Hall No.15 Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, at the ongoing 37th India International Trade Fair (IITF).
The legislator has congratulated the Director of Nagaland stall and Additional Director of Industry, Er. S Temslong Jamir, and the participating entrepreneurs from the State. He has encouraged the participants to give their best as they would be showcasing the State product at the International staget.President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurate the 37th India International Trade Fair (IITF) on November 14 at 10 a.m. at Hamsadhwani Theatre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, while Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, presided over the programme.
A press release issued by Kuolei Mere, PRO Nagaland House, New Delhi, stated that altogether 24 entrepreneurs from the State are taking part in the ongoing trade fair to promote and showcase the State product at the fair which would culminate on November 27.
This year around 3000 exhibitors including 222 companies from abroad are participating at the IITF 2017. A total 32 of India states and union territories are also participating in the trade fair. The Government of India’s key initiative for this year are ‘Make in India,’ ‘Digital India,’ ‘Skill India,’ ‘Smart Cities.’ The trade fair this year is being held on the theme “Start up India.”
The Parliamentary Secretary was accompanied by PRC Nagaland House, Jyoti Kalash, State stall director Er. S Temslong Jamir, Nagaland State Emporium Manager Tekatemsu Ao, and Kuolie Mere, PRO Nagaland House.
