Dimapur, May 23 (EMN): MLA Vikheho Swu along with additional deputy commissioner and sub-divisional officer of Pughoboto, visited Ghathashi and Ighanumi primary health centres, designated as quarantine facility on May 22.
During his visit, he held a review meeting with VCCs, GBs, DBs, youth leaders, student body, and staff of the centres, informed an update received here on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Sumi Students’Union (ESSU) in co-ordination with the medical team of Aghunato visited quarantine centres and community healthcare centres in the sub-division, to ensure safety of the people.
The union expressed satisfaction on the preparedness of quarantine centres and community health centres by the leaders of all the blocks as per the standard operating protocol, said district media officer in an update.
The ESSU welcomed the stranded Aghunato citizens and further assured its full support to the leaders in combating the Covid-19 pandemic.
