Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): The Nagaland state legal services authority and its Dimapur unit organised a legal services camp on Sat. Dec. 15, at the DDSC stadium in Dimapur. The event was conducted in collaboration with government departments, stakeholders and nongovernmental organisations, the DIPR stated on Dec. 17.
Addressing the gathering as a special guest, the secretary for Law and Justice, Khanrinla T Koza urged citizens to “know their rights” and avail the various services being provided by the government, the updates stated.
“She reminded that the constitution gives room for every individual to fight for their rights. She informed that government has devised a policy for mega legal services involving all the departments to give opportunity to the citizens to know their rights and avail the services with an objective to access justice to all,” the DIPR reported.
The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel congratulated the organisers and encouraged the people to take “maximum advantage of the ongoing camp.” He advised them to “get spot clarification on the government schemes if they have any doubts,” the DIPR stated.
