Legacy Futsal Arena inaugurated at Wokha

Dimapur, Aug. 19 (EMN): Advisor for Law & Justice, Dr. Chumben Murry, inaugurated the Legacy Futsal Arena (LFA) at Etsuchukha colony, Wokha town, on Friday.

A DIPR report stated that Murry in his address congratulated the partners and co-partners of Legacy futsal for coming up with such an innovative initiative and giving platform and opportunity to the youths to explore their talents.

He said futsal is becoming a worldwide and rapidly growing phenomenon and hoped that through the initiative, the game of football will progress in the district.

Murry further said that getting involved in futsal will not only give one the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigour and endurance, but also inculcate the team spirit and discipline in the young minds.

Deputy commissioner, Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, who also spoke on the occasion, said the futsal initiative is another example of entrepreneurship and a gratifying moment for the co-partners of Legacy Futsal arena and lauded them for the achievement.

He also said the dreams and desires of youths will be fulfilled through this initiatives and fill the wide gap in the field of futsal/football in Wokha district and wished the co-partners success in managing their endeavour successfully.

The Legacy Futsal Arena which started as a family venture came in to being through the initiation of four football enthusiasts.

Earlier, pastor Phiro Baptist Church, Rev. Thungjanshio Odyuo offered the dedicatory prayer and the inaugural function was chaired by Anthony Ngulle, co-partner LDA.
