‘Le Bistro’ opens for business in the state capital

Kohima, Dec. 3 (EMN):
Kohima opened its doors to ‘Le Bistro,’ the latest restaurant venture on Thursday.

Isak Kronu, Class-1 contractor, was the special guest for the inauguration programme.

According to Kronu, many people start business’ but ‘give up in no time or fail due to lack of determination’ and stressed on the need to be determined and persistent.

He also added that there limited government jobs in the state and asserted the need to venture into business, adding that one needs to ‘follow passion where one finds delight in it.’

Meanwhile, the proprietor of ‘Le Bistro’, Vemele Dawhuo shared that the idea to set up his own restaurant came up after serving as a food and beverage associate in Mumbai and Pune for three and a half year.

Dawhuo, who is from Thenyizumi village under Phek district, shared that he has worked at Le Meridien, Mahabaleshwar and ‘The Marriott” and said that his dream to work in Florida was cancelled, then return to home state to provide an opportunity to the local youths.

Located at Puro Complex opposite to State Library Kohima, the restaurant will serve French recipes along with beverages in the form of fancy mocktails and cocktails on regular days while during weekends, there will be buffets for families and others to dine-in and would serve continental dishes, he informed.

He also acknowledged his family and friends for the support and encouragement in enabling his dreams to come true.
