Land Resources director inaugurates coffee cafe in Wokha

Wokha, Aug. 17 (EMN):
Director of Land Resources, T Renben Lotha, inaugurated Coffee Natural Nagas Cafe within the office premises of the Land Resource in Wokha town on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Renben stated that coffee is a highly recommended health benefit drink and the second-largest trading commodity across the globe. In pursuance to the state government’s effort to promote coffee, he informed that the department has started opening coffee bars. He also encouraged the public to inculcate coffee drinking culture.

He also highlighted the vision of the Land Resources department to promote coffee culture by following 3Es- employment, environment and economy. He added that the department has signed an MoU with Noble Cause Coffee Company from Cape Town in South Africa for 30 years. He was optimistic that it would bring about economical changes in the lives of the people through coffee culture.

Also speaking at the programme, Steve Odyuo, proprietor of Coffee Natural Nagas, informed that Coffee Natural Nagas is part of the Naturally Nagas project to protect the wildlife. He added that Coffee Natural Nagas would extend help and support Naga students interested in wildlife conservation studies and research works.

C Vanchamo, deputy director of Land Resource, stated that “coffee is not a rich man brew” adding anyone could cultivate, produce and brew. He encouraged the gathering to consume local organic products for good health.

Meanwhile, Coffee Natural Nagas also received four different manual brewing machines during the launch programme.
