DIMAPUR — The Ladies Unit of the Naga Army celebrated its 25th Raising Day themed “Sisters in arms: unveiling the legacy” on March 26 at the Ladies Unit compound, General Headquarters, Naga Army.
According to a press release from the NSCN/GPRN, Kedallo Tongmeth Wangnao attended the function as the chief guest.
In her welcome address, Lieutenant Colonel Leishimi Muinao, MSM, the commanding officer of the Ladies Unit of the Naga Army, urged her comrades to reflect on the sacrifices made, the challenges overcome, and the victories achieved. She emphasised that their gathering with jubilant hearts was made possible by the sacrifices of pioneers and seniors.
The unit came into existence in 1999, it was informed.
