KYO sports meet underway

Kohima, Dec. 27: The 42nd Kiruphema Youth Organisation sports meet kicked off today here at Kiruphema ground with Shri.Pecüvilie Kruneilie, Pastor Peducha Baptist Church as the special guest for the three day long tournament.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Pecüvilie said, reaching the youth stage is the most significant part of life but one should accept the certainty and know that there is God who guide every steps of life.
He also urged the youth to be punctual in time management and respect elders and challenge the youth to go further in the future with discipline and make known of the village through sports and education. Altogether, 342 players from seven clubs are participating with a total of 9 teams in football (Men) and 15 teams in volleyball (Men & Women).Rokovisa from Nurhe club became the first player to score a hattrick in football at KYO 42nd sports meet.
Earlier, the program was chaired by Kezevilie Hojha, president KYO, blessing from Medovilie Vielie, Pastor Peducha CRC, while Viketoukho Yavio, advisor KYO pronounced the welcome address and special number was presented by Mesalhouno Zenyüu and Medoneino Suohumvü.
