KVYO QRT apprehends 6 without ILPs

THE Kohima Village Youth Organisation QRT vigilantes on Friday night intercepted six persons who were on their way to the state capital without requisite Inner Line Permits (ILP) below Naga Hospital Colony, Kohima.
The accused, identified as Hussain Ahmed (26) Foizul Hoque (35), Hussain Ahmed (30), Tajuddin (22), Shahabuddin (30),and Minajuddin (21), all hailing from Assam’s Karimganj district, were traveling in two zonal taxis when they were intercepted. The QRT volunteers handed the accused over to North Police station. A non FIR part IV, case no. 0017/2013 under section 3BEFR has been reportedly registered against them.
Secretary KVYO QRT, Dzieseneituo Rutsa while talking to media persons, cautioned zonal taxi drivers and others to be alert while carrying passengers to Kohima. He said that anyone caught carrying illegal immigrants to the capital will be strictly dealt with to the point of equivalent punishment for both the passengers and the drivers.
