Dimapur, Aug. 9 (EMN): The Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) and the Kewhimiapfü Mechü Krotho (KMK) today strongly condemned, what it termed, the barbaric act of one Zasituo Tsükrü of Dihoma Village who raped a mother of two on the night of Aug. 2 2018 within the jurisdiction of Kohima village. The KVYO President, Dzüvinguzo Mepfhüo and KMK President, Neipfeü Suokhrie, while condemning the incident, urged the law enforcing agencies to deal with the culprit in the strongest possible manner ‘so that this kind of act is not repeated in our society’. “KVYO and KMK also appealed to the highest authority not to grant bail rather booked the culprit with severest punishment,” the two organisations stated.
