KVK, Zunheboto Nagaland University conducted training programme at Lumithsami village under Akuluto block in Zunheboto district. Ms Sentimenla Jamir, SMS (Soil Science) highlighted on the importance of Vermicomposting which can be easily taken by the famers which will help to generate income through sell of Vermicompost. She also emphasized on the recycling of spent mushroom substrate to use as organic manure.Ms Narola Anichari conducted demonstration on preparation of soymilk which is nutritious and good for the young and elderly people.
She demonstrated on the methods of garlic pickle preparation which can be taken up by the farmers for generating income by selling the pickles in local market.
Altogether 25 farmers attended the training programme.
