Dimapur, Dec. 2 (EMN): Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mon, conducted a scientific advisory committee (SAC) meeting on December 2 at KVK conference hall, Aboi town in Mon district.
An update from KVK Mon stated that the programme was chaired by P Kongham Phom, sub-divisional agriculture officer, Aboi, while Dr. V Akashe Zhimomi, senior scientist and head of KVK Mon, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the function of SAC.
It stated that Dr. Paihem Michui, ACTO (Animal Science), presented an annual progress report 2020 and annual action plan 2021 of KVK Mon.
Altogether, 16 members from various agri. and allied departments, NGOs and progressive farmers attended the SAC meeting. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ruyosu Nakro, ACTO (Agricultural Extension), KVK Mon.
