Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): The Kuda Village Council (KVC) has requested the deputy commissioner of Dimapur to immediately seal “an area at Master colony” in Kuda village and shift four Covid-19 positive patients to a quarantine centre.
In a letter to the DC, the village council on Thursday informed that four members of family residing at Master colony, Kuda village tested positive for Covid-19 via TrueNat on August 5 at the Covid hospital in Dimapur and had returned home. It added that the RT-PCR results of the four are awaited.
“The area where these Covid-positive patients reside is a thickly populated and congested area and it poses great danger to people in the neighbourhood and the whole village,” the letter read.
Therefore, the KVC has requested the district administration to immediately seal the area and transfer the four positive patients to a quarantine centre for further treatment.
