[dropcap]G[/dropcap]B’s Union Dimapur (sadar) has expressed appreciation and lauded the state government under the vibrant leadership of chief minister T.R Zeliang and home minister Y. Patton for introducing much needed Police Commissionerate system in Dimapur on 15th April 2015 which is the only second city next to Gauhati to have this system in the whole of north-east states.In a press release, Chairman Mr. M.Y Ngullie and Joint Secretary Mr. Rangau Zeliang stated that the system would improve to a great extend in maintaining law and order and curbing anti-social activities in the city. The commissionerate system has come at the right time since peoples’ desire is to have greater security and peaceful atmosphere which the present government had fulfilled. It also encourages the public and different organizations to cooperate with the district administration and law enforcing agencies for peaceful environment and safety of the citizens.
The union expressed its faith and full cooperation to the first Commissioner of Police Dimapur Mr. Liremo Lotha and Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Mr. Kesonyu Yhome.
