KU for ‘Frontier Nagaland’ in Naga solution package

Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): In a fresh twist, the Konyak Union (KU) has decided to pitch for inclusion of the demand for ‘Frontier Nagaland’ in the Naga solution package. A press release from the union informed that the decision was taken during a meeting of the KU and its executive board council on Friday in Mon town. After ‘thoroughly discussing all aspects of the impending Naga political solution’, the KU decided to ‘wholeheartedly welcome it in principle,’ it stated. However, it also decided that the “concept of the solution and the grant of statehood (Frontier Nagaland) should form part and parcel of the same (sic).”
