Dimapur, Nov. 8 (EMN): Along with the rest of other churches, Christian Education Department (CED) of Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro (KTBL) celebrated the World Sunday School Day cum graduation on November 5 at KTBL on the theme “Grow with Christ” with Setsiba, associate pastor as the main speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, the pastor encouraged the parents to know their responsibilities in moulding up their children as family is the best institute for the children to learn.
Various items like Bible memory, children choir, choreography, dance etc, were performed by the children.
Throngsela spoke on behalf of the graduation students, while Chopongkyu, pastor, conducted a special prayer and Lilongla, CED secretary, awarded the certificates.
The programme was chaired by Hopila, Sunday school teacher, while Liopi, president BYE, invoked God’s blessing. Tsolenmong, deacon, pronounced an offertory prayer and a special number was jointly presented by the CED teachers and graduation students.
Altogether 32 students graduated from the school, which was handed over to the youth department by the pastor along with all their particulars.
