KSCJ and TAKU sign MoU to foster academic excellence

DIMAPUR — The Assam Kaziranga University (TAKU) and Kohima Science College Jotsoma (KCSJ) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) at the KSCJ auditorium with an aim to foster academic excellence and co-curricular pursuits.

An update from KSCJ stated that the collaboration was aimed at achieving and enhancing the promotion in research endeavours, providing students with a holistic educational experience that extends beyond the classroom such as student exchange programmes, workshops etc.

The benefits and future plans of the MoU from both the institutions were presented by Dr. Temjenwabang, principal of Kohima Science College, and Abhijeet Bharadwaj, manager of The Assam Kaziranga University. Highlighting the opportunities, both the representatives of the institutions focused on enhancing research and contribution to academics, seminars, panel discussions, conferences, book publications, journal publications, academic, resource sharing, cultural exchange, research collaboration, student mobility and faculty development etc.

Bobby Roy, CMO and dean of admissions at The Assam Kaziranga University, in his address, stated that the university was formed with the vision to enable students to be skilled and explore beyond knowledge with its motto ‘Knowledge and beyond.’ He further encouraged the students to believe in themselves and be at a global level.

The ceremony concluded with the official signing of the MoU between Dr. Temjenwabang and Bobby Roy.
