KPTA condemns threat on members

Dimapur, May 18 (EMN): Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu Teachers’ Association (KPTA) has vehemently condemned the ‘barbaric acts and unruly behaviour’ of one Hekishe Chishi, who reportedly insulted, harassed and threatened the faculty members.

KPTA release issued by its president Imnasangba Jamir and the general secretary Vizekhol Rhutso claimed that on May 18 at around 4 p.m. Hekishe Chishi, son of former MLA Yeshito Chishi of Asukhuto town, had insulted, harassed and threatens the faculty members of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) while were playing badminton in the Institute multi-purpose hall.

The release alleged that Hekishe Chishi forcibly chased out the faculties from the Institute multi-purpose hall claiming that hall was his “private property” saying he has an order from “Government of India and District Authority (EAC).” The release also added that he threatened the faculties by using abusive language.

“This is not the first time Hekishe Chishi has propagate such similar incident by intruding and creating disturbances inside the institute where the respect and dignity of the teachers are maintained,” the release added.
