Dimapur, August 3 (EMN): Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu Students Union (KPASU) have demanded the State government for regular payment of salaries to the fixed pay lectures as early as possible so that the students have smooth flow in their education career.
In a press release KPASU general secretary, Nikato chishi, stated that students of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu of certain branches are in isolation state due to the lack of lectures and not starting the odd semester session in time.
“The regular appointed lectures are transferred to other Polytechnic and their post lies vacant and the fixed pay lectures are appointed against such vacant posts. But due to non-payment salaries regular fixed pay lectures are unable to perform their duties. In this unbalanced condition the Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu students are being delayed for their respective odd semester classes ‘2017’ without knowing and understanding of our education career” stated the general secretary.
In this regard, KPASU demanded immediate action from the government for regular payment of salaries to the fixed pay lectures.
Failing to do so, KPASU said it will take its own course of action, which the government well be held responsible for taking a student’s career for granted.
