
DIMAPUR — Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) hosted the Ambiora 2.0 Festival on October 8 on the theme "Synergising tradition with modernity."
An update from KPA stated that the event brought together students and faculty for celebrating cultural heritage and innovation. Activities included folk dance competition, bamboo climbing and rice sifting, all aimed at engaging participants in traditional practices.
Dr. Khuito Murum, executive engineer of PWD (R&B) of Atoizu division, was the special guest. In his address, he highlighted the importance of integrating indigenous knowledge with modern engineering.
Other notable activities included photo-essay competition, model exhibitions and bridge making contest along with a workshops on welding and lathe operation.
It stated that the festival fostered creativity and collaboration, reinforcing the significance of harmonising cultural traditions with contemporary advancements.
