DIMAPUR — Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) celebrated its 52nd freshers’ day on August 9 at MPH Hall of KPA on the theme “Timeless elegance: freshers’ soiree.”
The extra assistant commissioner (EAC) of Atoizu, Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak, who was the guest speaker, exhorted the students and emphasised that their journey at the polytechnic marks the start of an exciting chapter filled with opportunities.
Drawing from his personal experiences of overcoming challenges, Dr. Konyak encouraged the students to embrace difficulties as stepping stones to building their future. He stressed the importance of understanding one’s purpose, developing good habits and building strong relationships.
He also highlighted the significance of hard work, integrity and faith, offering his support for the students’ academic and career endeavors. He concluded his speech by urging the students to make a positive impact on their community and the world.
Neisekho Chaya, principal of KΡΑ, motivated the students to pursue excellence in their studies.
Speech on behalf of the freshers was delivered by Inapu Chishi, while a song was performed by Meziwi and Akoba Sangtam and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Besungoyi Swuro, magazine secretary of KPASU and a benediction said by Prickali Awomi.
