Konyaks in Longleng repair road

Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): With the initiative of Superintendent of Police Longleng , Yangba Konyak, the Konyak people residing in Longleng town conducted a mass social work on Sep. 8 in Longleng town. The volunteers filled up potholes, cleared drainages and surrounding areas starting from Hukphang junction to Assam Rifle camp towards the residents of deputy commissioner and SP. It may be noted here that Longleng district, which is in eastern part of Nagaland, faces a lot of hardshipsdue to bad road condititons. Even the main road linking the district with Mokokchung remains in a pathetic condition during every monsoon season.
