Dimapur, Feb. 3 (EMN): Konganian Welfare Forum (KWF) has vehemently condemned the hostile behaviour of one Peter Kikon, VDB secretary of Old Aree village, against M Hamdok Konyak, BDO under Sanis Block on January 25.
In a condemnation note, KWF president, Pangjei E Jesuhu, and the general secretary, Pangloi N Laktuhu, alleged that Peter Kikon had verbally abused and threatened to vandalise the office of BDO, Sanis.
While condemning the incident, the forum general secretary, Pangloi N Laktuhu, felt that such heinous actions against responsible officer, who are working towards the welfare of the society, would only hinder the development process.
Meanwhile, Konganian Welfare Forum (KWF) has appreciated the Konyak Gazetted Officers’ Union (KGOU) and Lotha Hoho for their timely intervention into the matter. KWF has further called upon all communities irrespective of tribes/ individuals to
condemn such activities.
