Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): Members of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) visited the Kohima orphanage at Seithogei on June 5 as a part of their ministry. A press release from the church's media ministry on June 8 stated that the home currently has more than 90 children and helpers. The KBC men's fellowship donated two truckloads of firewood, kitchen essentials, toiletries, toys and cash to the home, the press release stated. In the evening service, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo , a senior pastor spoke to the gathering about the Word of God based on Matthew 23: 9. 'We have all one father and that is God. We should not have an orphan-heart because biblical character such and Esther (who was also an orphan) was raised to be a queen. We should not be disheartened with our situation but it will raise us up if we walk with the Holy Spirit,' the press release stated. The preacher was stated to have urged the people to engage in acts of kindness and goodwill for orphans, who needs help and attention. "As a true Christian, we must respond to the needs of people around us who as mention in James 1:27," the press release stated.
