Kohima’s BJP welcomes new party president

Dimapur, June 25 (EMN): Kohima division of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has welcomed the decision of the party’s central leaders in appointing Temjen Imna Along Longkumer as the state party president. The division general secretary has described him as a young, dynamic leader and a man of principle, who stands foremost for the uplift of the party and the people. The division has assured to carry out the directives of the newly appointed president with full co-operation and dedication in the days to come and hoped that the party would thrive under his leadership. Meanwhile, the division has expressed delight in working with the former state party president, Visasolie Lhoungu. It has wished him all success in discharging his duties as chairman of bamboo mission and co-convener of PDA government. It added that his contribution to the growth of the BJP in the state and Kohima district in particular was significant and exemplary.
