Kohima wins overall champion in state Taekwondo c’ship

Kohima, Sep. 28 (EMN): Kohima District won the overall champion at the 30th Nagaland State Taekwondo championship which concluded on Thursday at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, IG Stadium, Kohima, organised by Nagaland Taekwondo Association. Kohima District grabbed 31 Gold medals with 31 gold, seven silver, and four bronze, while Dimapur district secured the second position with 8 Gold medals and Tuensang district got the third position with 8 Gold medals. Village Guard Organization participated in the championship for the first and gave an impressive performance winning 2 Gold and one silver. A total of 173 players from eight districts along with 50 officials are taking part in the two-day tournament The prizes were distributed by Lhouliebeio Khezhie, general secretary NTA during the prize distribution ceremony.
