Kohima Town Club Championship 2023 to be held next month

KOHIMA — The Kohima Town Club (KTC) has announced that the 5th KTC Championship 2023, an open football tournament, will be held from November 11 to the 25th at the IG Stadium in Kohima.

Inviting interested clubs from Nagaland and other states to register for the open tournament (knock-out system), it said the total prize money for this year’s edition is INR 5,10,000, with the winning team to take home INR 2,20,000, while the runners-up will receive INR 1,40,000, and semi-finalists INR 30,000 each.

The organisers added that the player of the tournament will be awarded a cash prize of INR 20,000, while best goalkeeper, defence, midfielder, highest scorer, coach, referee, and fan club will receive INR 10,000 each.
