Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, organises 63rd parting social

DIMAPUR — The 63rd parting social of Kohima Science College (Autonomous) in Jotsoma was held on April 21 with its former vice principal, R Moasangla Jamir, as the special guest.
An update from the college stated that its principal, Dr. Temjenwabang, delivered the welcome address in which he congratulated the graduating students and conveyed best wishes for their future endeavours.
It stated that Chonbenthung of MSc 2026 batch and Zhapuvino of BSc Chemistry department spoke on the occasion. It was followed by screening of short documentary on the outgoing batch.
Representing the junior batches, Saroni Z Jami delivered a speech wherein she expressed gratitude to the seniors for their guidance and inspiration.

It stated that the BSc 6th semester of Mathematics Department was awarded the cleanest classroom of 2026, followed by the distribution of mementos to all graduating students.
In her address, the special guest encouraged the graduates to view their degrees as tools for growth rather than final achievements. She emphasised the importance of practical experience, continuous skill development and purposeful decision-making, while urging students to define success on their own terms and remain proud of their academic roots.
The programme concluded with a benediction.
