Kohima Inter Wards Singing Competition “THE SOLOIST” on December 9 at Kisama

HORNBILL FESTIVAL NAGALAND 

The Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Panchayat (AKMWP) Kohima is all set to organize an Inter Wards Solo Competition during Hornbill Festival on the December 9, 2015 at Kisama with a view to encourage the young talented youths and to give them platform to expose their talent.
Kohima being the capital of Nagaland, and home to all tribes including main land India, the competition is open to all, irrespective of tribe, cast or religion, but should be a resident of a particular ward of Kohima Town.
The press note issued by President AKMWP, Neibulie Kiewho notifies that the competition will carry a total of Rs.124000 for cash prizes along with certificates.Only 2 (two) contestant from each of the Kohima Municipal Wards shall be selected to participate in the competition. 2 (two) registration forms for each ward is already handed to all the wards Panchayat authority and the last date for submission of forms is fixed for 26th November 2015. The forms may be submitted at the office of AKMWP, 2K Hotel Building, Lady Mills Road, Officers’ Hill, Kohima, Nagaland.
Screening audition shall be held on the November 28, 2015 at RCEMPA, Music Task Force Jotsoma, and from the screening audition, only 12 (twelve) Finalist shall be selected for the final round to be held at Kisama, the Hornbill venue on the 9th December 2015
