DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16

THE Kohima unit of All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union has said the ongoing protest by Hindi teachers of Dimapur and their demands have no basis as these do not concern the Committee of Hindi Teachers.
Quoting the Committee of Hindi Teachers appointed under CSS during 2012-13, the Kohima Hindi teachers said it had been clarified that the protest by some Hindi teachers in Dimapur is aimed at misguiding and creating misunderstanding among the teachers for their ‘own profit’.
The Kohima unit of Hindi teachers in a release issued by their convenor Kekhrieneilie Tsikhano and member secretary Nelson Yhokha also clarified that the All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union office bearers and officials of Education department along with the State government are working full time to resolve the problems being faced by the Hindi teachers. They hoped that all the problems will be resolved very soon.
Therefore, they have requested every concerned Hindi teacher to understand and cooperate in the ongoing efforts to resolve the problem. It also cautioned the Hindi teachers not to be misguided by any rumours in the upcoming days rather know the facts and join hands together in all the works and support each other during hard times.
It also warned that anyone trying to mislead the teachers will be dealt with seriously while requesting not to spread rumors without knowing the facts.
