Kohima, June 1 (EMN): The Kohima Town Club officially launched the jersey of the participating team for the third edition of the Kohima Football League (KFL) 2019, to be held from June 8 to 26
th at the IG Stadium in Kohima.
The official launching ceremony was held in Kohima on June 1. Rtd. DGP and adviser Kohima Town Club, K Kire was the special guest for the ceremony.
Addressing the launching programme, Kire encouraged the players to remain fit as football demands a lot of energy. He said that players belong to a common fraternity of sports.
Despite opponents during the game, he urged them to remain friends outside the field. He also asked them to maintain discipline and dedication to be professional players.
This time around seven football clubs will be participating at the KPL. The clubs are defending champions Sechü-Zubza FC, Vanguard FC Tseminyu, Khriekesa FC, Forerunners FC Thizama, United 16 FC and two new entrants A. Yhome FC and Kohima Eagles FC.
